BiomassRCM information system

A web-based and mobile application system with visualization of estimated quantities of biomass and potential recipients of biomass, and a knowledge base for the categorization of information. The information system composes a decision support tool for the perspectives of alternative utilization of the available biomass and organic waste. The system is created in the framework of the project “Information system for assessment and evaluation of biomass and organic waste potential for the production of green products in Region of Central Macedonia” (Biomass RCM), funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Greece and implemented under the partnership of 1) BIOSOLIDS (Coordinator), 2) CERTH – CENTRE FOR RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY HELLAS, 3) Department of Soil Thessaloniki, Soil & Water Resources Institute H.A.O “DEMETER”, and 4) EXEO SOFTWARE HOUSE.
